Dark Avenger One of my all time favorites in the Dungeon Synth genre. Old battles, warriors, and pride, with an extremely creative use of layering and composition. Highly recommended! Favorite track: 1380.

Album is dedicated to The Battle of Kulikovo which occured in 1380. The Battle was fought between the armies of the Golden Horde under the command of Mamai, and various Russian principalities under the united command of Prince Dmitri of Moscow. The battle took place on September 8, 1380, at the Kulikovo Field near the Don River (now Tula Oblast) and was won by Dmitri, who became known as Dmitri Donskoy (Dmitri of the Don) after the battle.
