Legends and myths are not only rich in the times of settlement of Vyatka, dedicated to spirits, paganism, battles, beauties of nature, etc. One of the most widespread urban legends is the legends about underground passages in the city of Khlynov, when it was already a large merchant city, which also had many churches and monasteries. Allegedly, the entire hill on which the city stands was dug by passages, which are whole labyrinths. There are rumors about the dungeons that they store the untold treasures of merchants and clergymen, and these treasures are guarded by restless souls. Many eyewitnesses tell how they visited these mysterious dungeons. And modern researchers even make maps of these mysterious corridors.
